One Touch Snap GMS HSPA+ (Alcatel) MWC 2013


Alcatel Snap is one of the latest Android powered phones by Alcatel on MWC 2013. The company's became one of the phone makers who aggressively introduced their newest product at this event. And here now with one of them, the Alcatel One Touch Snap. A 4.5-inch screen, yes this is the most screen size used by nowadays smartphone in any range.

The Snap offers 960x450 pixels resolutions which bring larger dimension for experiences of web browsing, watching movie on a smartphone. A 8MP rear camera ready to give user more quality in capturing video up to 720p or shooting photos in high quality as well. There is also a 2mp rear facing camera for video calling, recording video and capturing moments anytime and anywhere. Meanwhile we can find high-enough hardware under the hood, including 1.2 GHz mobile CPU by Media Tek, 1GB RAm support, 4GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for up to 32 GB extra memory support.

One Touch Snap designed to work on GSM-based network at quad-band frequencies and support cellular data from GPRS, EDGE, HSUPA, HSDPA up to HSPA+ for more than 7.0Mbps internet connections. The company also planed to release another model of the Snap for LTE 4G network with some differences in screen size to 4.65-inch display, more power CPU at 1.4GHz dual-core and thicker form factor.

The phone is available in some country, scheduled to reach European smartphone market at the end of Q1 this year, and expected to be available everywhere in Q2 this year.
