HTC Merge Dual-Mode CDMA-GSM Android Smartphone


HTC has announced its dual-mode CDMA-GSM Android 2.2 smartphone. But there is no word about which carrier that will bring it, an also detailed specs and price. According to many sources, North Americans operators would sell the HTC Merge this spring.

HTC Merge spesificarions include, Android 2.2 Froyo, QWERTY keyboard (slide-out), 5 MP camera and 3.8 inches touchscreen display. The Merge works on dual-mode CDMA 20001x, EVDO Rev.a - 800/1900 Mhz frequency, and GSM, 3G HSDPA-GSM 800, 850, 1800 and 1900 Mhz.


It seems HTC Merge made flexible and of course ready for trafficked by any carrier, whether based on CDMA or GSM frequency. The CDMA-based carriers such as Verizon, Sprint and MetroPCS is possibly including who will launch the HTC Merge. And another big gsm-based carrier such as AT & T and possibly T-Mobile also may launch it.
