Yes.. this is the modem, the Mi-Fi and the router. AVM Fritz Box 6840 is the box (like DLS router generally) that capable of receive LTE network and share the LTE 4G connection to all other WiFI, LAN and USB-enabled tools. The LTE connection coming from the micro SIM card inserted into the SIM port located on the back of the device along with the "Ethernet" RJ45 (4-ports), USB port, Cordless Phone line, and 3-pieces of antenna. Maybe should be noted, this kind of wireless network device is not a portable-device types that can (comfortably) for you to carry on the way, since this type are not made for it (although it can). Usage more precisely maybe like in the office or home (where no wired connection available). You can simply buy this box and the SIM card then you are ready to connect to the WWW. Much different from the devices that we are familiar with the MiFi nor USB modem stick / dongle that usually has a very small form factor (when compared with the DLS modem or the kind of this device), and share the connection via Wi-Fi only, this box can connect to other devices (computers, laptops) via RJ45 or USB port (since it's called a router).
