Galaxy Nexus ICS - the First 4G HSPA+ Phone with Ice Cream Sandwich


Google and Samsung finally announced their very first handset with the latest release of the Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich a.k.a Android 4.0. The Samsung-Google Galaxy Nexus ICS is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core mobile CPU and equipped with a 4.65-inch HD Super Amoled screen at 720p resolution and of course the ability of NFC since this is Google's official mobile phone (Wallet).

For now, the Galaxy Nexus Ice Cream Sandwich is available in a GSM - 4G HSPA + version, and the LTE 4G version reportedly will soon to follow in November this year with a slightly different specification. Samsung did not explain in detail, but rumors said one difference is the design of a thinner and slimmer. Samsung Galaxy Nexus ICS Android 4.0 is scheduled to be available on the market before the end of the year.
