Motorola Droid 3 global (3G EVDO Rev. A - GSM, UMTS HSDPA), no LTE 4G!, is the successor of the Droid 2, Droid 3 comes as the global phone. Processor
Droid 3 has a 1Ghz DUAL-CORE processor, while the Droid 2 has a 1 Ghz but SINGLE-CORE (TI OMAP).

Better Display technology
Droid 3 brings the better technology of the smartphone display, qHD display, and spots bigger size : 4". While Motorola Droid 2 comes with TFT display, size : 3.7 inches. Both with capacitive touchscreen, multi-touch, light sensor, and proximity sensor.
