Galaxy Legend vs. Stellar (SCH-i200ZKAVZW vs. SCH-i200ZKPVZW)

Samsung Galaxy Legend, code-numbered SCH-I200, was launched and available at Verizon Wireless in two model. Booth use the same code number but differ at the end. Galaxy Stellar using SCH-i200ZKPVZW and Galaxy Legend using SCH-i200ZKAVZW. Then, what the main differences of booth CDMA-based smartphone? Here we are with the simple comparation.

Galaxy Stellar vs. Samsung Galaxy Legend

Galaxy Stellar vs. Legend
Booth offer same design and form factor, same display size, same dimensions and even same code number as mentioned above. The main difference is located at the network supported by those phones. Samsung Galaxy Stellar with code number SCH-I200ZKPVZW also works on LTE band-13 (700MHz) for 4G connections, in addition to its main support for CDMA 800 and 1900 MHz with support for slower data via 3G EVDO rev.A up to 3.1 Mbps and event via 2G CDMA20001x network technology. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Legend, alothough uses same code numbe, its ONLY works on CDMA frequencies at 800 and 1900Mhz (3G EVDO Rev.A, CDMA 20001x). So, Its just like the downgrade model of the Stellar, or the Stellar is the upgrade version of the Legend.

Other differences:
Processor: Stellar uses 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcom MSM, Legend uses 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM
OS: Stellar uses Android 4.0 (ICS - update to 4.1 available), Legend is better with Android 4.1.2 (JB)
Storage: Stellar has a 4GB of internal memory with microSD slot support up to 32 GB, Legend only 1 GB but microSD support up to 64 GB.
Note: Specs based on the Samsung official page

Who's better?
If you do not care about super fast 4G LTE data and still comfort with 3.1 Mbps data via EVDO Rev.A network, than I prefer to choose Galaxy Legend. Not just because its cheaper than Stellar LTE (check the latest price on www.verizonwireless.com, its also brings better OS with Android JB 4.1.2. The same battery (mAh) size is also better on the Legend beause 3G eating less power than 4G.
