Is a good news for Galaxy Stellar user who desire or not to enjoy the beautiful of the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) on their Stellar since Verizon officially pushed out the upgrade. System update file is 403.6 MB, downloading time approx 15 - 20 minutes, updating software approx 15 - 20 minutes, total time needed for update is approx 30 - 40 minutes. The update brings several new enhancement on Stellar (SCH-i200) such as added brightness bar, MMC support up to 64G B and more listed below:
Additional enhancements include:

+ Device software supports up to 64GB SD memory card.
+ New VZW Remote Diagnostics application for Jelly Bean software has been added.
+ Improved call clarity while using the the AUX Port of the car radio.
+ Multimedia messages no longer show when user sends group text message.
+ Improvements to Back Up Assistant (BuA) manual sync and Wi-Fi connection have been made.
+ “Merge with Google” and “Merge with Samsung” have been removed from contact menu.
+ Spell check functionality has been improved.
+ Improved network connection has been made.
+ VZW Sync & Connect email server connectivity has been improved.
+ S-Suggest preloaded application has been removed.
+ Verizon app store application has been removed.
How to update Galaxy Stellar to Android Jelly Bean (4.1) - SW Version

Note: Make sure your battery is fully charged, excellent Verizon or WiFi signal too, then ready for software update.
- Update notification will appears when its available, tap OK and your device will power off then on its self and beginning the installation.
Note: If you choose "Defer" this will delay installation and you will be taken back to the home screen. The system update message will appear every 30 minutes until you install the update.
Or, go to Home > Applications > Settings > About Phone > System updates > Restart & install. Your device will power off and back on and the installation process will begin.
Update via WiFi (when roaming)
Simply enable your WiFi setting by tap Settings > find and tap WiFi ON, once you are connected, an update notification will appear on your device.
Problems that may appears:
Error screen means the system update fails to install and the software did not install properly. Simply remove and re-install the battery and turn the device back on. The device will power back on with original software and repeat the install process.
