Back to MWC 2013 last month, LG have a mid-range Android powered smartphone on Optimus family entitled Optimus F5 along with F7. The F5 is a 4.3-inch smartphone with QHD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core mobile CPU by Qualcomm, equipped with a 5mp main rear camera and running latest Android 4.1.2 version. Is a good news for Verizon subscribers who like to join a budget-friendly gadget lovers with LTE 4G connectivity since the F5 mentioned to land on Verizon stores soon as the LG Lucid 2, the successor of the original Lucid LTE.
Detailed specs based on the cellular network support are available yet. But sure the LG Lucid 2 will also works and support 3G data via CDMA EVDO network techno in addition to its main network support for super-fast LTE 4G data. Not sure if Lucid 2 will be a global-capable with GSM bands, since the latest 4G LTE phone on budget-friendly range for Verizon by LG dubbed LG VS-950 Intuition was not global phone, only CDMA and LTE. But who knows it will be global too, since all Verizon smartphone is now global-capable including LG VS-930 Spectrum 2. that came with the support for GSM and UMTS bands and even with HSPA+ network support. Expected release date at the end of March or April 2013. Stay tuned!.
