Perhaps many people still like the simple style of communication. Especially for outdoor workers, certainly a lot of risks that can occur with communication tools during activity. Here is a list of phones that are designed for the above, ordinary also named rugged phone, all equipped with military standard certification and almost all of them carry the PTT feature. Most are made by Kyocera, Samsung and the rest by Sonim.

Some are equipped with a large resolution camera, huge storage and a microSD slot, some standard features only. Some use CDMA networks, including 3G data through EVDO REV.A, some dual CDMA-GSM and some running only on GSM networks and data via GPRS or EDGE.
