Android Gingerbread CyanogenMod 7 For Nexus S


CyanogenMod 7 has just released for Nexus S (Google). The most popular CyanogenMod has been long time used by Android user worldwide. And now, the CyanogenMod version 7 has released for the popular ROM of Nexus S users. This ROM is based on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread source code made available to the public this past weekend under AOSP (Android Open Source Project).



Here the manual Instalation:

  • Make sure your phone is rooted. You can use our guide on how to root Nexus S.
  • You must also have a custom recovery installed. In case it isn’t, you can download ROM Manager from the Market and use it to install Clockwork Recovery.
  • Download the ROM from the link given below and copy it to the root of your SD card.
  • Switch your phone off and reboot it in recovery.
  • Use the main recovery menu to wipe all data and cache. Then go to the advanced menu and wipe dalvik cache.
  • Get back to the main recovery menu and select ‘install zip from sd card’. Select the ROM that you copied to your SD card in step 3, and wait patiently while it is flashed to your phone.
  • Once the flashing is done, reboot your phone.
  • Now that you have CyanogenMod 7 running on your Nexus S, you can download Google Apps for it by downloading the zip file from the link given below and flash it to your phone from recovery just the way you flashed the ROM.
