iPhone 5 Still with 3G EVDO?, 4G LTE May in the iPhone 6

The news about the iPhone 5 presence is increasingly tight. March 2 is the event where the iPhone 5 will be introduced in more detail. iPhone 5 in certainly would land at AT & T as it is common since many years, and in Verizon as successor to the iPhone 4 CDMA and than probably will be called "the 2nd Verizon's iPhone".

In every presence of latest devices, of course most people expect these devices will support the latest technology. Like the iPhone 5, we would expect or at least hope will support LTE 4G networks, when iPhone 5 coupled with Verizon. And on the other hand will support 4G HSPA + network when coupled with AT & T.

But a little disappointing to me personally, when reading posts on PhoneArena about the iPhone 5 that (apparently true) come without LTE, and may support 4G HSPA + ATT. This means iPhone 5 still only support 3G network (in this case 3G CDMA EVDO Rev. A if landed on Verizon). And the GSM versions are expected to support 4G HSPA + ATT. (HSPA + unilaterally claimed as a 4G network).

Conclusion
If all is correct, you'll only find a hardware differences between iPhone 4 vs. iPhone 5. Nevertheless, it seems not too be much difference, maybe only on a larger screen size (4 inches), dual-core processor or perhaps other hardware are not so important.

Still from the same source, the iPhone with support for 4G LTE will be available in mid-2012. Maybe this is the successor of iPhone 5 (still with 3G EVDO) and the next gen will be called the iPhone 6 4G LTE. Via Phonearena ()
