July 8th, 2011 - The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S II reported will be on sale some time in July 2011. Still no word about actual date or day, as well as about price.

31 August 2011 - Samsung finally made the Galaxy S II available in US, and won't be available with Verizon, but to be launch by AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. The Sprint version of this super slim smartphone will be named Samsung Epic Touch 4G. It will works with carriers CDMA 20001x and 3G CDMA EVDO Rev. A networks also with WIMAX 4G band. Another specs remain same including a super AMOLED Plus display, Samsung Exynos 1.2 GHz processor, HDMI and DLNA connectivity.
