There are many smartphone with WiMAX capabilities that are still stored in the Sprint's house and ready to be launched? At least there are 3 smartphones and 1 piece of MiFi 3G/4G that seemed ready to launch, HTC EVO 3D, EVO View Tablet and Google Nexus S, all three are support the 4G WiMAX network provided by Sprint. and the Kyocera Echo that have launched is just the 3G CDMA EVDO rev. a.
HTC 3D Evo - introduced at CTIA 2011, works on Sprint's 3G EVDO and WiMAX 4G service. It has a dual-camera on the back for capturing pictures and video in 3D.
HTC EVO View - the Sprint's version of the original HTC Flyer (3G GSM, HSPA +), offers 7" capacitive multitouch screen, comes with a special pen and apps, and runs on WIMAX frequency
Google Samsung Nexus S WIMAX - Special Edition fro Sprint's WiMAX 4G and equipped with NFC-Chipset integrated and ready to be Used as cradit cards when the system is served.
UPDATE :
April 26th, 2011 - Nexus S 4G Wimax official to be available on Sprint starting May 8th 2011 for $200 (plus tax) with two-year contract.
Just a reminder, Sprint is also rumored to have Atrix WIMAXversion, BB Playbook WIMAX and also Motorola Xoom 4g wimax. Latest news says that the first version of Sprint's Motorola Xoom will not be equipped with WiMAX, but only-WiFi, while the version of WiMAX will soon follow.
