AT&T's LTE 4G Services to Begin This Summer (Official)

Yes..LTE (Long Term Evolution) might become the real 4G connection for mobile internet purposes today, and the biggest carriers in the U.S., AT & T finally officially confirmed that they will begin to deploy their 4G service using LTE technology in the summer of this year.


In his press release, AT&T will begin to deploy LTE for 5 important areas in the U.S., including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Although not mentioned in detail, ATT will develop their LTE networks up to 10 additional areas by the end of 2011 and covered more than 70 million users. Press release on BGR()

n my notes, there have been rumors 4G LTE enabled device which is planned to be launched by AT & T to support their new 4G network, the HTC Puccini(). HTC Puccini is a 10 "tablet with the latest version of the Android OS that is rumored to be launched by the greatest career in the U.S. was in June 2011.
