Nokia N9 Meego 1.2 (Harmattan) with NFC Chipset


After a long Meego introduced, Nokia finally showing off the smartphones, Nokia N9 with Meego ver. 1.2 (Harmattan) embedded in it. The OS which is a result of a collaboration between Nokia - Intel seems to bring a new scent in the experience of the mobile operating system, but also labeled with the first PURE touchsceen phone.


The Meego ver. 1.2 (Harmattan) as mentioned before, will be launched in 2011, and here we are. Let's forget for a moment about the Nokia WP for a while, we will focus on Nokia N9 Meego, from the physical we can find no physical buttons on the front and our simple to use screen measuring 3.9 inches AMOLED touchscreen to navigate around the OS Meego. Nokia N9 works on GSM/EDGE network and WCDMA service on pentaband 850, 900, 1900, 1800 and 2100 Mhz frequency.

Go to the hardware, Nokia N9 Meego armed with the ARM Cortex A-8 OMAP3630 1GHz processor, PowerVR SGX530 graphics accelerator, 1024 MB of RAM and 512 MB ROM, 8 MP Carl Zeiss camera, HD video capture, built in memory (16 and 64 GB), bluetooth 2.1, WIFI BGN, TV-OUT, DLNA, HDMI, WIFI Tethering, and NFC-chipset to replace the function of your wallet.

There has been no information about the price, the official release date and availability of the Nokia N9 Meego. But rumor has it next month, meaning that in July or August 2011. The latest information will be updated as it becomes available.
