HTC Wildfire S is the CDMA version of the original HTC Wildfire (GSM), rumored will be available with U.S. Cellular on October this year, it runs on CDMA 20001x and 3G EVDO rev. A network at dualband CDMA 800 and 1900 Mhz frequency.
The HTC Wildfire S comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, equipped with a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, powered by a 600 MHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, and a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash. See all specs here.
Looking into the specifications on offer, of course, HTC Wildfire S is not a top-class smartphone with the latest hardware. It seems that this device will enter the ranks of middle-class Android phones, though the actual features that carried is good enough for the purposes of communications and multimedia needs in a mobile phone.
