Galaxy S II Headed to Sprint as The Epic Touch 4G – Rumor

Good news for Sprint’s consumers who desired to get the super slim Android Smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S ii. Sprint rumored to launch Galaxy S II before anyone in the U.S. However, unlike previously rumored as the Samsung Within, Galaxy S II Sprint version to be coming as the Samsung Epic Touch 4G. It certainly reminds us of the Samsung Epic 4G (without touch) (codename : SPH-D700) that is quite successful marketed by carrier, and I assume it was planned to continue the success of its predecessor. If true, this certainly is the same thing that was reported to have visited the FCC with the codename SPH-D710, complete with WiMAX and CDMA EVDO bands.

No doubt, the Samsung Epic Touch 4G created to support WiMAX network, in addition also running on the CDMA1x and 3G EVDO Rev A bands. Other specs are believed to be the same as we've heard so far include Super AMOLED screen, 2 MP front facing camera, dual-core processor and large internal memory. Rumored release date on Friday, September 9, 2011.Via : Phonearena
