One of the several Android based phones is getting an update on this August is the Kyocera Echo. As published in the Echo official page, this dual-screen phone is scheduled to get an update to the Android Gingerbread ver. 2.3.4, which promises to bring a number of improved features and functionality, among other functions of Wi-Fi calling, and that is surprising is the function of NFC in Kyocera Echo, where we know from the beginning introduced are not mentioned at all about the NFC-Chipset.

NFC Supports, this means that there is a NFC chipset inside the Kyocera Echo that had been withheld by Sprint and Kyocera. Because if there is no chipset in it, is impossible OTA update can conjure up the Echo to be the Nier Field Communications-enabled phone. Let's just wait until the update comes.

UPDATE :
Update Kyocera Echo brings most features of Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the Echo. The update includes pinch-to-zoom support; an improved downloads app, an upgrade to the Swype 3.0 virtual keypad, and Eco mode. NFC Support and Wi-Fi Calling not included in this update. One thing from here, we do not have to believe something even if it comes from the official page.
