Certainly not a secret anymore if 4G LTE-enabled mobile phone particularly problematic in the battery since it first launched. There are several ways available to deal with this, from apps to turn off LTE to attach the back cover to increase battery life. However, apparently it was all a mere choice of solutions and in fact; it does not alter a lot this situation. Fortunately, LTE phones for AT & T promised to be more efficient battery thanks to SCFB (Circuit-switched fallback). This technology enables LTE phones automatically run on LTE for data and 3G (GSM EDGE) for voice.
Basically, in theory this method is similar to LTEonOff applications created for Android-based LTE phones like the HTC Thunderbolt and other LTE phones on Verizon. But it seems to be more effective SCFB where it works on hardware and not software like LTEonOff apps. As disclosed by the CEO of AT&T, he believes that this method will work well for their LTE 4G phones.
