10" ASUS Transformer Prime with Quad-Core Tegra 3 Processor and Super IPS+ Display


Asus finally announced its brand-new Android tablet Transformer Prime with the powerful Quad-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 3. Sure, this is the successor of the first Eee Pad Transformer that also came with the same accessories such as keyboard with battery / docking station (sold separately). The prime uses display screen measuring 10.1-inch Super IPS+ technology with 178 degree viewing angles and Gorilla Glass.

Other features we will be treated to a 1 GB of RAM, a 8 MP camera on the back, 1.3 MP on the front side, HDMI port, WiFi b/g/n, bluetooth 2.1 +EDR and in out audio jack. This ASUS Quad-core Tegra 3-powered tablet will be available in two models based on the size of media storage; 32 GB will be priced at $ 499 and $ 599 for 64 GB model. Th battery promised to can last up to 12 hours without the dock and up to 18 hours with additional power from the dock.

The Asus Transformer Prime will use Android 3.2 Honeycomb when shipped and of course is ready to be upgraded to Android 4.0 ICS. Temporarily there has been no official release date, but it is strongly suspected before the end of 2011. Stay in alert!
