Another mid-range Android powered phone made by LG titled Optimus 2 was launched by Alltel this Q4 2011. The handset is apparently the successor of the previous LG Optimus family that was launched by different carrier with different name including Optimus S (Sprint), Optimus M (MetroPCS), Optimus Slider (Virgin Mobile) and so on.
