Samsung Conquer SPH D600 WIMAX current software version is EG15 and now available the update software to FC17. The update process is available via OTA update. FC17 software update mainly brings some enhancements in security and enabling CMAS (Commercial Mobile Alert System) Below are the guide to do update software FC17 for Sprint Samsung Conquer. 1. Checking the software version of your Samsung Conquer
Press Home > Menu > Settings > About Phone
See under the Baseband version and Build Number
2. Updating Your Samsung Conquer to FC17
Press Home > Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Checking software update status - simply follow the instructions.
The update will remove all live wallpapers installed include the magic, Smoke, many, Waveform and beyond. You still can choose the wallpaper from the gallery files or use the default wallpapers after the update.
