Snapdragon 865 - 5G-designed Chipset


The 8th generation chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 865 is designed for 5G devices and support for the latest device features. The latest features include a smarter, responsive device. Specifically for games, Snapdragon 865 offers what they call "Snapdragon Elite Gaming" which is ready to bring the level of desktop gaming on a smartphone with ultra-realistic graphics support.

Entering the 5G field, Snapdragon 865 uses the Snapdragon X55 5G RF Modem system which can produce speeds of up to 7.5Gbps. With the support of DSS (Dynamic Spectrum Sharing) X55 makes it possible to work and supports almost all 5G frequencies that vary in each country.

And when dealing with support for cellular networks, this chipset is likely to be on devices such as MiFi, modems, routers and so on.

5G under development

For now, the 5G network is still in the process of being developed and is being promoted. In some countries, 5G networks are already available in certain locations.
