Confirmed, that the HTC Trophy is the global smartphone for Verizon wireless. The Trophy works on both CDMA and GSM network and provides 3G wireles data connection through EVDO Rev. A or GSM HSDPA service.
The latest rumor of the release date is on May 12 2011, and BestBuy even puts the HTC Trophy in their display with only "coming soon!" note. While Verizon do not say anything about it first Windows Phone 7-based smartphone. At the same date also rumored will be launched the LG Revolution LTE, although it hard to believe since the Samsung Droid Charge delayed until unknown release date.
