Sprint LG Viper - Eco-Friendly LTE 4G Smart Phone for Sprint

LG Viper 4G is one of Sprint's upcoming LTE 4G-enabled smartphone that scheduled to be released to the market soon even with eco-friendly label. We've heard other LTE devices on carriers line up including Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus ICS and a mobile hotspot device (Mi-Fi) named Sprint Tri-Network Hotspot by Sierra Wireless. Slightly differ from Verizon LTE devices that work also on 3G EVDO nor some with global GSM band, several Sprint 4G devices are designed to work on its other 4G network named WIMAX. May we can call it a device with 3G CDMA EVDO, 4G WIMAX and 4G LTE network support just like what the Tri-Network MiFi has.

Back to LG Viper LTE. Judging from images and specs, the smartphone is likely another-branded version of the MetroPCS LG Connect MS840 that are contain 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4.0 inch NOVA display, 5 MP camera, front VGA camer, BUT LG Viper listed also with NFC-enabled (your digital wallet ready), MiFi mobile hotspot feature and supporting DLNA connectivity. Next to eco-friendly term, according to the press release, Initial eco-friendly features include a charger with a no-load consumption rating of .03W, which exceeds the EC Code of Conduct on energy efficiency and chasing 35 percent is made of plastic material that can be recycled.

Unfortunately, the official release date is not yet available, as well as pricing and other detailed specifications. And the good news is Sprint customers in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio can expect to get LG Viper 4G along with the LTE signal before mid-2012.
