Would be nice to open email from Gmail using your hands on the Xperia. Here's the way how Gmail settings in SE Experia X1 (Windows Mobile).
Make sure that the POP3/IMAP and SMTP Gmail account is already active. Log in to your Gmail >> Settings,>> Tab forwarding and POP / IMAP, POP3 status and the status enable IMAP >> Save Change.
On Your SE Xperia X1
Select Start >> Messaging >> Menu >> Tools >> New Account.
Enter your Gmail address in the E-mail address, and Your Password>> Save Password>> Next.
On the next screen will be taken automatically configure your Gmail account and server>> Next.
Enter a name in the Your Name>> enter your email account on the Account Display Name>> Next.
