One of the best devices that I hope will appear at this CES 2011 is a "4GLTE modem" in addition to tablets and smartphones, especially those that support and LTE 4G network, by all providers who are introducing their 4G service in late 2010. Not only is Verizon, there is Sprint, MetroPCS, and even AT & T also targeting LTE technology as an alternative for their 4G service.
Slightly disappointing, the only offensive modem with LTE 4G capabilities, is the LG-Verizon collaboration, which introduces the LTE-capable chip in 2 type at the same time, LG WM300 and L2000. Phonearena.com wrote that this was the result of collaboration between the two in 3 years.
Not only WM300 and LG L2000 LTE modems, the ST-Ericsson also introduced the M700 LTE will also support Verizon's LTE 4G network. But it is still an introductory course. There is no clear information about the detailed specifications, pricing and when this LTE modems will be launched in the market. Maybe if they had actually launch 4G LTE in the air. We expect more than this at next another event.
