RIM's BB Playbook Launched And Ready For Sprint 4G


RIM and Sprint unveiled their plans to roll out the BB tablet dubbed BlackBerry Playbook at CES 2011. Togehter with Sprint, the Playbook will support Sprint's 4G technology that has been rolled out in late 2010 in several business areas in the U.S. Sprint seems to have the opportunity to see the tablet BlackBerry in their markets. In the near future after launch, we'll see if the Sprint's service users based on CDMA technology, as well as 20001x or EVDO Rev. A (3G), will receive this product.


The BB PlayBook tablet powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 7-inch WSVGA LCD capacitive touchscreen (1024x600pixels) and brings the latest BlackBerry OS for tablet (QNX Operating System) with support "symmetric multiprocessing, support MP3, AAC, and WMA audio format, H.264, MPEG4, WMV video format in 1080p HD capture and playback. Its also equipped with dual HD cameras for video teleconfrence, HDMI output, Wi-FI B/G/N, and bluetooth 2.1 with EDR support.

Sprint plans to launch BlackBerry Tablet on the market in the very near future. There has been no clear information about price is pegged, as well as information on data packets (3G/4G) that will be bundled with the Playbook.
