Motorola Dorid X 2, the first carrier's Tegra 2 dual core powered CDMA smartphone, finally gets official release date for May 26 2011 and preorder starting from 19 May.
This Droid X successor comes and brings the nVidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, 4,3" qHD display, a 8MP camera capable for HD video record and has a HDMI port to share HD video and other content to all HDMI-enabled media.
As previously rumored before, now we can call it a CDMA Evdo Rev. A phone with Dual core processor. Not much can be hoped from its operating system, cause the Droid X 2 only brings the Android ver. 2.2 Froyo, but hopefully the upgrade to higher version of Android Operating System will be rolled out sometime soon.
One note again, for those hope that the Droid X 2 will be a LTE-enabled smartphone for Verizon. The X 2 is not LTE 4G smartphone. Motorola Droid X 2 works with CDMA 20001x and 3G EVDO Rev. A network provided by Verizon wireless.
