Motorola XOOM LTE 4G, Finally... (Verizon)


Motorola XOOM with LTE 4G connectivity has finally launched after in July reportedly was on its way to Verizon. Actually this is the first official version with a built-in LTE radio, since the first version was only 3G and Wi-Fi only. There was no difference in hardware, as well as software. Both are using Android 3.2 Honeycomb and armed with powerful dual-core processor 1 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. Just to remind Motorola Xoom LTE version also has a major 5-MP camera that can record video up to 720p HD quality and a 2-MP camera on the front for video calls.

Back to the first version of the Motorola Xoom that in addition to available in Wi-Fi only version, also available in 3G EVDO rev. A network support and to get an upgrade to 4G LTE, some users reported to have gotten the upgrade with free of charge by sending their handset to the factory. Meanwhile LTE built-in version available in 32GB version only at a price of $499 with 2 year contract or $669 free from the rope hanger.
