Kyocera Rise C5155 is the new name for the latest CDMA based smartphone made by Kyocera with Android 4.0 ICS mobile OS that recently introduced at CTIA event on May 2012. The Kyocera Rise powered by a 1 GHz mobile CPU, supported by a 512MB of RAM and equipped with a 2GB internal memory, a microSD card slot for up to 32 GB of additional external storage card, a 1500mAh battery and a WiFi BGN connectivity including Mobile Hotspot (WiFi tethering) feature. The Kyocera Rise works on CDMA based spectrum at dual band cdma 800 and 1900 MHz frequency and capable for wireless broadband data through its 2G CDMA20001x nor 3G CDMA Evdo Rev. a technology. Other specifications that might to be note include a side-slider physical QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-inch HVGA display with IPS LCD techno, 3.2MP camera with LED flash, video recorder, A-GPS support and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR support.

The Kyocera Rise C5155 announced on 8 May 2012 CTIA2012 event along with Kyocera Hydro (rugged model with waterproof feature) with no physical QWERTY keyboard. Judging by its specs, no doubt it will be a wallet-friendly Android 4.0 ICS smartphone from Kyocera (as usual).
