Meego, Nokia and Intel's New Weapon in the Market Smart Media Devices


Together with Nokia who are aggressively marketing their products in-class smartphone is the Nokia N8, it seems that Nokia also will soon be bringing forth other smartphone products that use their new operating system, in collaboration with Intel, there was OS Meego. Megoo is a linux based OS which is opensource and is intended to be invested in not only smartphones, but also for netbooks, tablet PCs, TV sets, multimedia devices and other entertainment devices.
As known previously, Meego is the result of cooperation between Nokia and Intel. This is a combination of the Maemo OS belongs to Nokia and Moblin OS Intel's belongs. Both are based on linux platform. And Meego is claimed to be combined the best features of both. Maemo OS while it has been used on mobile devices carrying Nokia N900 has smartphone features and 3G connectivity.

On the other hand, Nokia has dominate more than 40% market share of cell phones and smartphones worldwide with Symbian OS as its flagship. Meanwhile we know that cell phone and smartphone devices with Android OS and the iPhone has clearly become the opponent that can not be underestimated by Nokia. And it seems this OS Meego become the new Nokia's mainstay weapon  to directly compete with Android and the iPhone in the smartphone and smart media devices markets.

Meego Nokia products with OS version 1.1 is rumored to be released this October 2010. But many who doubt this and can ya can not argue Meego Nokia 2010 will be launched this year. Meego While version 1.2 is planned to be launched in the coming year 2011.

Apparently this will be the most anticipated product by Smartphone users around the world because it uses the new OS Meego. How sophisticated features combined Nokia and Intel will present it in the hands and support all multimedia and internet features that exist today.
