Verizon's announces 23 more market on June 16th 2011 to be serviced by its LTE 4G connection. The areas includes Hartford, Connecticut; Harrisburg, State College, and Erie, Pennsylvania; Dayton and Springfield, Ohio; Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina; Sacramento and Fresno, California; Spokane, Washington; Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Utah; Flint, Grand Rapids, and Lansing, Michigan; Indianapolis and Forth Wayne, Indiana; and Madison, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha and Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Verizon also said that it will expand its existing 4G footprint in Detroit and the San Francisco Bay area.
There is no doubt that Verizon's LTE 4G service will be available in all planed areas until the end of 2011. Meanwhile, so far we can choose the LTE devices, smartphone, MiFi or LTE USB modem which available now on market, HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung Droid Charge.
The presence of another upcoming LTE Android smartphone such as Motorola Targa, or may the new face of cancelled Droid Bionic, LG Revolution and some rumored LTE-enabled tablet (Galaxy Tab 10.1" LTE, Xoom LTE and BB Playbook LTE), expected to be launched soon before the end of 2011.
