AT&T finally announces two 4G LTE devices that will be launched in August 21st 2011. As we know, this summer the company will launch LTE services in five major cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, and gradually, at least in 15 cities later this year.
Momentum 4G is the USB modem works with ATT's LTE 700 Mhz (AWS) networks, also known as USBConnect Momentum 4G. Just like other stick modem, Momentum 4G using the USB as its interface, See USBConnect Momentum 4G specifications:()
While the Elevate 4G is the Mobile Hotspot, usually called Mi-Fi, works with AT&T's 4G LTE networks, also works with GSM 2G GPRS and 3G HSDPA/HSPA+ frequency. See Elevate 4G Specs
The USBConnect Momentum 4G and Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G will be available on August 21st for $49.99 and $69.99, each with a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. AT&T will charge $50 per month for a 5GB data plan and the usage more than 5GB will cost $10 per GB.
