CSL - a Hongkong-based Telecommunications company finally launched its first modem with LTE 4G capability in partnership with the most known modem stick maker ZTE. At a test, CSL LTE network demonstrated download peak up to 100 Mbps via the LTE/DC-HSPA+ USB modem. The test showed off by CSL and ZTE is by doing the download and uploading files through a FTP client, Video Conferencing and doing several multitasking while watching a HD video on YouTube.
This modem is support also the HSPA+ network by using UMTS 900 MHz band. This first CLS 4G service was dubbed with 1010, is a part of its service brand. According to the statements, their LTE network is now active in 80% of the locations in Hong Kong were previously only have 3G networks, and all locations where 3G coverage is available will as well be covered with LTE network in the next few month.CSL LTE usb modem
