4G LTE Smartphones, MIFI, USB Modem You Might Have Missed

In my recordings, there are some smartphones with 4G capabilities, both wimax or LTE, which was launched in the market. At least two major carriers who carry 4G LTE smartphone to the marketplace that is: Verizon to LTE technology, and MetroPCS also with LTE, which had already been compared with Verizon, but the coverage area apparently owned by the Big Red.


Metro PCs
MetroPCS has a Samsung Craft() (SCH-R900) for their LTE 4G market. This martphone MetroPCS was launched in September 2010. Hit the link to see the specs.

Indulge Samsung (SCH-R910) is the successor to Craft. The successor was launched by MetroPCS on April 1, 2011, in conjunction with the inauguration of LTE coverage area in Tampa, Florida(http://modem-techno.blogspot.com/2011/04/samsung-galaxy-indulge-lte-announched.html).


Verizon Wireless
HTC Thunderbolt() is one of the newest Verizon smartphone launched special for their LTE services in all VZ4G coverage areas. The Thunderbolt became the first smartphone with the ability to LTE released by Verizon and became the only for now, since Droid Bionic, LG Revolution, Galaxy Tab LTE, Xoom LTE and may BlackBerry Playbook LTE does not go get an official announcement. And many more in the warehouse rumors.

Recently rumored to have problems of battery which only lasted up to 3-4 hours in LTE 4G mode, then free LTE oNOff app () came and expected to fix this problem, by turning off the LTE in Thunderbolt. Later also rumored problems on the signal back and forth itself from 4G LTE to 3G EVDO or disappear altogether for no apparent reason. We are awaiting confirmation from Verizon or HTC for this problem.

In addition to Thunderbolt, noted there are several devices includes Mi-FI and USB Modem LTE, Call it the Samsung SCH-LC11 MiFi 4G() and Novatel MiFi 4510L LTE, and also Novatel USB551() LTE USB Modem. The devices can be used as an alternative to use along with more than 5 devices connected at home or at office, which of course offers a more flexible usage including access from laptops and PCs in addition to the device with wifi capability in general.
