26 April 2011 - Sony Corportion has officially announced the launch of 2 pieces of tablets which they named S1 and S2. Both have completely different designs with any model tablets, and obviously did not leave the habitude of other Sony product.
Sony S1 is the codename for tablet-sized 4.9-inch, bringing Android 3.0 as OS, equipped with WiFi BGN connectivity and WAN for 3G and 4G connectivity. While S2 is the codename for the second product that is reminiscent of Echo from Kyocera are bringing new experiences Dual-Screen Smartphone. In addition to a completely different design with Echo, S2 also uses Honeycomb. Android Tablet Sony S2 has a 5.5 inch screen, and while there has been no full specs announced.
In a press conference, Sony said that S1 and S2 both will be available in the global market starting in fall 2011. Then, Sony will continue to announce more device. Starting in early 2011, Sony Announced the next-generation portable entertainment system (codename: NGP) and Sony Ericsson (SE) Mobile Communications brought "Xperia ™ PLAY" with Wi-FI and also 3G broadband connectivity.
